When
you step through a doorway dated 1608 and onto a well worn floor,
you know that you are entering a haven of traditional hospitality.
In the winter you will usually find a roaring fire in the impressive
original inglenook fireplace and in the summer you can relax by
the waterside in our large private gardens.
The hotel has 12 Rooms in all: four double rooms, one twin Room
and one single room inside the main hotel building. Our Chalet
Rooms, which are located just a few yards away from the main building
have two double rooms and three twin rooms. All our rooms are
en- suite with tea/coffee making facilities and have a TV (with
basic channels).
Our A la Carte Menu is available lunchtime and evenings, from
12 noon until 2 pm and again from 7 pm until 9.00 pm and is served
in our Garden Room Restaurant. Alternatively, we have a popular
Bar Snack Menu and Specials Board, which can be enjoyed in either
our bar area, conservatory or even outside in our spacious garden,
when the sun is shining! All of our menus use a good selection
of fresh local seasonal fayre. We compliment our food with a fine
range of beers, wines and spirits, including an extensive choice
of malt whiskies.
We have ample car parking space, not to mention our own marina
with private moorings for up to 180 boats, with more planned for
2009.
We are pleased to be able to offer you the opportunity of relaxing
in such an idyllic and private setting, great if you just want
to get away from it all for a little while.
Room rates, A la Carte
and Bar Snack Menus can be e mailed, faxed or posted on request.
